Areas of Practice

Darrell Calvin first began his career with Touchstone Bernays in 2001. Prior to that he served the community of Dallas County as an Assistant District Attorney in the felony division. He defends a wide range of personal injury cases from inception through trial in matters such as premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, electrocution, products liability and construction cases. He defends a wide variety of cases to include commercial motor vehicle accident litigation, employer non-subscriber cases, and construction accidents. Darrell was named as a Rising Star in the 2010 Super Lawyers/Rising Stars Edition published by Texas Monthly.

Recently successfully defended a Texas based wine distributor and its driver in a wrongful death jury trial obtaining a finding of no negligence.

Currently defending a Texas based physicians' group surrounding premises liability claim of patient.

Currently defending major national retailer in products liability and premises liability cases throughout the State of Texas.

Currently defending Irving, Texas based contractor in construction dispute surrounding construction of a large shopping center in Irving, Texas.

Personal Information

Born December 21, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Darrell currently lives in Coppell, Texas with his beautiful wife Jennifer and his two boys. Darrell and his family are parishioners at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. Darrell is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
